The A-OUT Festival is the Avignon festival of amateur theatre, created by the Théâtre des Vents in 2013; Today, it gathers between 5 and 10 theatre companies, depending on the year, each one putting on between 3 and 5 shows for a grand total of thirty productions during a week at the beginning of August. The festival is a way to welcome amateur companies who come to perform and find a stage where they perform in the long run in front of a proper audience. The 8th edition of the A-out festival will take place from 7 to 14 August 2021 in at least 3 theatres: The Théâtre des Vents, the Théâtre du Rempart and the Atelier Florentin.
