"I set to music poets such as Baudelaire, Verlaine and Villon, as well as my own texts. My style surprises by mixing classicism and audacity, disquieting seriousness and ironic lightness. I like to look for the artistic counter-sense to surprise and reveal what's hidden deep down in the poems that we don't see. So I take up Baudelaire's most desperate ramblings with overexcited joy, or Verlaine's facetiousness with morgue. I work with the rigor of the classical composer and the madness of the iconoclast.
