Art Lacoste
From 18/04 to 26/04/2025, daily between 3 pm and 6 pm.
Event in Lacoste :
Vernissage Friday April 18 from 4pm. Pot de l'amitié at the Temple at 6pm. This year, for the 16th edition, ART LACOSTE presents an exhibition that links the past with the present.
A sculptor and a painter who were born a century ago, but whose works are still very much alive:
Yasuo MIZUI, a Japanese sculptor who lived part of his life in Lacoste, and Jean-Marie FAGE, a painter from L'Isle.
They are an integral part of Lacoste's artistic dynamism, surprising in its variety of expressions and the number of artists who live or have lived here.
That's a remarkable percentage of the population of this small village!
Photography, video, sculpture, painting, drawing and tapestry will share dedicated spaces: the Temple (upper and lower), the Cure and the Town Hall.
