Event in Vaison-la-Romaine :
5 half-day and 2 evening courses to introduce children to astronomy and enable them to acquire a first level of autonomy in observing the sky. (ages 8 to 12). Reservations required.- Locate and identify at least five constellations
- Identify the main planets and target them with a telescope and refracting telescope
- Observe the Sun safely
- Recognize the phases of the Moon.
- Find your bearings under the night sky.
- Prepare an observation evening (reading a sky map, using planetarium software).
- Learn to observe the sky with the naked eye, binoculars and instruments (telescope).
- Know how to use an azimuth-mounted telescope.
- Know some basic notions of astronomy (constellations, planets, stars, phases of the Moon, etc.).
