Event in Vaison-la-Romaine :
The archaeological park is celebrating the European Archaeology Days with a variety of activities and meetings with archaeologists to explore the past of the town and its territory.
Program:
. ARCHAEOLOGY VILLAGE
06/14: 10am-12pm & 2pm-4pm
06/15: 10am-12pm & 2pm-5pm
Meet the archaeologists and discover their respective specialities: Lucas Helfer-Lebert (Inrap/ Arama) and Elliot Peters (Arama) for numismatics; Marion Holleville (Arama) and Lola Bonnabel (Inrap) for archaeoanthropology; Cyprien Mureau (Arama) for archaeozoology. These specialists will have "carte blanche" to present their own disciplines, based on the museum's collections: Lucas Helfer-Lebert (numismatics) at 10am and 3pm; Marion Holleville (archaeoanthropology) at 11am and 3pm; Cyprien Mureau (archaeozoology) at 2pm.

- 4:30pm: "Mortuary practices in the Vaucluse", by Lola Bonnabel (Inrap), at the Théo Desplans archaeological museum.
- 6pm: "Latest discoveries in Vaison-la-Romaine linked to roadworks", by Jean-Marc Mignon (Département de Vaucluse), at the Espace culturel.
SATURDAY JUNE 14 AND SUNDAY JUNE 15
> 10 A.M. AND 2 P.M.: "PRACTICAL ARCHAEOLOGY" WORKSHOP
With archaeologists PierreLou Schang, Léa Dolcerocca and Nataëlle Toutain from the Arama association, don the archaeologist's clothes, carry out a real archaeological dig and unearth the remains of the past... All ages: families.

With guides from the Théo Desplans archaeological museum.
